Day 12 - The Farm

Off to The Farm today! The name of some sort of commune type place 28km ahead. By talking around seems like a big group is going to be there tonight. First things first is a ferry ride across the Bay of islands. 

11am snack on the side of the road. Today was a day of mostly road walking, a theme that will be prevalent in the North island. 

Some good boardwalks in the Mangroves, when they’re not smashed up that is. 

I passed a dozens animal hides draped over signs and feet all all over. These forests are 100% cursed. 

A car in the ditch didn’t help that. 

I reached The Farm without being cursed. And busy it was, 17 tents and some 25 walkers here tonight. There was a yoga retreat happening as well. Lots of people to talk to, and I ended up playing Rummy with a Dutch couple.
