Day 51 - Bulls

A rainy start today, but a good one. Starting on a beach rather than road is much better. Although the sand was soft I still made good progress and cruised the first 10km. 

 

On the beach I ran into a man and he grandkid who just caught his first fish. A lemon shark actually, they were both really happy about it.

After the beach I was back on the roads headed to the town of Bulls. I’m getting some pain in my right foot. I think they’re in need of a break and news shoes. I’ll be taking a zero when I reach Palmerston North tomorrow. 

The town of Bulls loves their cows. Felt like small town Alberta. I had a BBQ at the holiday park I was staying at so I decided to grill some steak. How appropriate. An easy 32km day. Fast on the roads and beaches.
