Day 9 - KeriKeri

I make for the town of KeriKeri today, 28km away. I’m quick to pack up as it is raining and I don’t feel like waiting it out. First things first is a new detour this 2022 season because the field that use to be the trail is now used to raise bulls. So we cant go in there anymore without risk of getting gored.

This section of the trail was absolutely gorgeous. Finally some proper single track. It followed a river all the way to Keri Keri.

At the end we were treated to Rainbow falls. No rainbows in sight 0/10

A short walk to my hostel where they gave me a popsicle on arrival. Looking forward to a zero day tomorrow.
